Magic RSS Blog Scroller
This is the Magic RSS Blog Scroller. It works pretty much the same as the regular Magic RSS except that it provides this lovely scrolling box. See it at right. At this time we do not have a configuration page for it but here are the parameters, we're sure you can figure it out.
- noNewWindow=1 - cause links not to open in a new window
- age=Nh or age=Nd - only include RSS items from the past N days or hours, eg 8h, 7d. Default no limit
- descLen=N - truncate the item description to N characters, default 255
- stripHtml=0 - cause HTML not to be stripped from RSS descriptions
- max=N - only show the first N items, default 5
- imgWidth=W, imgHeight=H - set image width and height for RSS item images in feeds that support images, default 64x32
- cacheHrs=N - cache results for N hours before fetching a fresh version, default 12
- noCache=1 - turn caching off, default is caching is on
- resetCache=1 - clear all existing files from cache
- speed=N - speed of the scroller (1-5)
- boxWidth=W, boxHeight=N - width and height of the scroller
noPing=1 - turn pinging back to Magic RSS server off, default is pinging is on
